Private markets deserve data they can trust

Lantern is the trust and resolution layer for private markets data. We built the platform we wished existed when reporting cycles ran on spreadsheets, late nights, and hope.

Private markets have a data trust problem. We are solving it.

Lantern was founded by people who built and ran the systems private markets depend on. Our team comes from Allvue, eFront, iLevel, Altvia, and Aztec Group. We have built the platforms, lived the workflows, and reconciled the figures at midnight before a board pack goes out.

That experience taught us something the industry has been slow to admit. Private markets do not have a data access problem. It has a trust problem.

For years the answer was more dashboards, more integrations, more “single sources of truth”. This just made the data more visible. None of it fixed the deeper issue, which is that trust was still being produced manually, by people, under pressure, every quarter.

Lantern exists because trust should be automatic. Not assumed, not assembled by hand, not dependent on the heroics of your team the night before a report deadline.

We’ve built the resolution layer the private markets were missing.

The team rebuilding trust in private markets

Private markets veterans, engineers, and fund accountants who have solved this problem from every side of the table. We are united by one belief, that data confidence should not depend on the people producing the report.
