About Tom

Based in Jersey, Tom is Lantern's Head of Product, with a background in fund accounting and bringing over 20 years of private markets experience to the role. He sits between product development and market requirements, turning what users need into the platform roadmap.

Before Lantern, Tom spent his career at a number of leading fund administrators, most recently at Aztec Group. He started in fund accounting for private equity structures, before leading a technology team responsible for the configuration and support of the firm's core accounting software, alongside a range of group-wide operational and project roles. The combination of industry expertise and technology leadership led to an innovation role, where he went on to source and design technology solutions for private markets, Lantern being one of them.

Outside of work, when he isn't being bossed around by his two daughters, Tom is working on his golf game, skiing, or watching football, though as a Spurs fan he only occasionally enjoys it.
